Antoine "PeeWee" Albert, Jr.

Cecilia - A Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 pm on Friday, September 8, 2023 at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia for Antoine "PeeWee" Albert, Jr., 85, who passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at The Carpenter House in Lafayette. 

A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Cecilia on Friday from 9:00 am until the time of service at 2:30 pm.

A Rosary will be prayed at 1:30 pm on Friday afternoon.

Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the Funeral Service. Readers will be Skyler Bertrand, Tessie Thibodeaux and Andrew Falcon. 

Inurnment will follow at a later date. 

Antoine was the beloved owner and operator of Peewee's Towing and Peewee's Construction, where he poured his heart and soul into his work. Known for his unwavering work ethic, Antoine was admired by many for his commitment to his business and his employees.

Beyond his profession, Antoine had a zest for life. He found joy in simplicity, cherishing the time spent watching western movies, cartoons, and car races. One could often find him revving up his Harley, feeling the freedom of the open road beneath him. 

Antoine's dedication to his country was evident in his service as a proud veteran of the Navy. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

He is survived by his sons, Paul Drake Albert (Shawn), Troy Albert (Phyllis), Blaine Albert and Kody Albert; daughters, Leslie Falcon (Dennis) and Lacy Albert; grandchildren, Andre, Andrew, Paul, Tessie, Kayne, Skylar, Logan, Landyn, Seth, Kohen, Treylon and Kaliyah; nine great-grandchildren; and sisters, Adele "Dee" Albert and Emily LeBlanc.

He is preceded in death by his former wife, Marie LeBlanc Albert; father, Antoine Albert, Sr.; mother, Lula Mae Castille; brothers, Joseph Albert, John "Brada" Albert and Emick "T-Boy" Castille; and sister, Elisa Bernard.
