VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, April 1, 2010, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in St. Martinville, for April Lynn Vincent, 35, who passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2010 at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Rev. Ed Degeyter will conduct the services. April won numerous pageant titles when she was younger. In her free time she enjoyed dancing, watching television, writing poems, and spending time with her friends and family. Survivors include her biological father, Lee Ray Hardy of Arnaudville; her mother, Rita Bonin of Parks; her son, Dillon Vincent of Carencro; her daughters, Ashley Page Rocca (Rocky) of Kaplan, and Gabrielle M. Vincent of Parks; her brothers, Wayne Hardy of Cecilia, and Ryan Hardy of Henderson; her sisters, Kathy Hamlet (David) of Parks, Cynthia Robin of Breaux Bridge, Jennifer Hardy of Henderson, and Leah Hardy of Cecilia; and her grandchildren, Noah Rocca and Emma Rocca. She was preceded in death by her father, Desire Bonin, Sr.; her brother, Sonny Bonin, Jr.; her maternal grandparents, Sanders and Lucy Champagne; and her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Aymar Bonin, Sr. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 5:00 p.m. until 12 midnight on Wednesday and continue at 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
