Arlene Marie Robin Potter

Port Barre - Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, on Monday, December 29, 2014, at First Baptist Church in Port Barre, for Arlene Robin Potter, 55, who passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2014, at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at First Baptist Church in Port Barre from 9:00 am until 1:45 pm on Monday. Rev. Benjamin Richard will officiate at the Funeral Service. Born in Henderson, LA and raised at Robin's Landing, Arlene loved her Cajun Heritage and camping. She was an amazing cook, wife, mother and grandmother. She was a retired WalMart manager and graduate of Cecilia High School. Arlene fought a valiant fight against Cancer and will be deeply missed by all especially her canine friend, Cosmo. She is survived by her mother, Peggy Doucet Robin; her husband, Michael S. Potter; her sons, Derick Robin and Anson Robin; her step sons, Adam Potter, Austin Potter, and Anton Potter; her step daughter, Yon Potter; her brothers, Bowen Robin, James Robin, and Keith Robin; and her sixteen grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Russell J. Robin. Pallbearers will be Derick Robin, Bowen Robin, James Robin, Keith Robin, Gage Richard and Gavin Robin. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael S. Potter, Anson Robin and Anson Robin, Jr. Pellerin Funeral Home, (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
