St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville, for Arline Broussard Hulin, 72, who passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette.
Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville.
Deacon James B. Davis, will conduct the services. Readers will be Clint Latiolais, Brittany Theriot and Logan Hulin.
Arline retired from St. Martin Bank after 25 years of service. She loved the interaction with her customers.
She enjoyed cross stitching, puzzles, watching her grandchildren, going to the casino, traveling and dancing. She also enjoyed all holidays, which brought her family together, who made her days more special to remember.
Survivors include her husband, Linton J. Hulin, Sr. of St. Martinville; her sons, Linton J. "Lynn" Hulin, Jr. and his wife, Diana of Parks, Benaber "Benny" Hulin and his wife, Nanette of St. Martinville, Troy Hulin and his wife, Nicole of California and Corey Hulin and his wife, Camay of Lafayette; her daughters, Gwendolyn Latiolais and her husband, Mark of St. Martinville, Elizabeth Romero and her husband, Michael of New Iberia, Nanette Theriot and her husband, Jody of Catahoula and Tammy Belaire and her husband, Ames of St. Martinville; 20 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Benaber and Anita Landry Broussard; her son, Clinton J. Hulin; her brother, Steve Broussard and her half sister, Mathilda Derouen.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 1:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Monday, March 9, 2009 and continue at 7:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
Pallbearers will be Lynn Hulin, Benny Hulin, Corey Hulin, Mark Latiolais, Jody Theriot and Ames Belaire.
Honorary pallbearers will be all her grandsons, Chris, Logan, Brock, Cody, Clint, Travis, Brook, Trent, Alex, Zack, Austyn and Mikie.
The family wishes to express special thanks to Dr. Cain, Lafayette General 8th floor staff and Hospice of Acadiana.
