Armance 'A.B.' Barrilleaux

New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in New Iberia, for Armance "A.B." Barrilleaux , 86, who passed away on Monday, January 25, 2016, in Lafayette. Entombment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. Rev. Ed Degeyter will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday from 8:00 AM until 3:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 10:00 AM Wednesday. A native of Jeanerette, Mr. Barrilleaux was born on February 10, 1929 to Adam and Edolia Nolan Barrilleaux, and was a resident of Broussard for the past 20 years. After graduating from USL, he taught Industrial Arts and then worked for Otis Engineering as a wire line operator for 32 years. Mr. Barrilleaux served our country in the National Guard, and his hobbies included playing golf, fishing, and woodworking. Survivors include his children, Leslie Barrilleaux and wife Cherie of New Iberia, Shelby Barrilleaux and wife Joni of Lafayette, and Malissa Broussard and husband Oran of Loreauville; sister, Estelle Westmoreland of Jeanerette; brother, Perry Barrilleaux of Franklin; grandchildren, Natalie Barrilleaux, Ashley Pfister, Lauren Judice, Oran Broussard, Jr., Marcus Broussard; great grandchildren, Rowan Barrilleaux, Hunter Broussard, Ridge Broussard, Delaney Broussard, Gage Broussard, Spencer Judice, Stella Pfister, and Quinn Pfister. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Mae "Billie" Barrilleaux; a grandson, Nicholas Joel Barrilleaux; brothers, Darrell Barrilleaux, Shelby Barrilleaux, and Burnett Barrilleaux. Pallbearers will be Oran Broussard Sr., Oran Broussard Jr., Ridge Broussard, Hunter Broussard, Gage Broussard, and Marcus Broussard.
