VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 2008, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Armand Lasseigne, 74, who passed away on Monday, September 22, 2008. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Fr. Allen Breaux, Associate Pastor of St. Bernard Church, will conduct the funeral service. Mr. Lasseigne was a boat captain for 60 years. He was an outdoors kind of guy who enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include two sons, Tommy J. Lasseigne of Lafayette, and Timmy J. Lasseigne and his wife, Lisa, of Breaux Bridge; four brothers, Ernest Lasseigne of Cecilia, Albert Lasseigne of Breaux Bridge, Aldes Lasseigne of Cecilia, and Eugene Lasseigne of Loreauville; one sister, Noelie Champagne of New Iberia; five grandchildren, Jeremy Lasseigne of Tampa Bay, FL, Keturah Lasseigne of Phoenix, AZ, Logan Lasseigne, Tyler Lasseigne, and Caleb Lasseigne, all of Breaux Bridge; and one great grandson, Ethan Lasseigne of Tampa Bay, FL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen LeBlanc Lasseigne; a son, Jimmy P. Lasseigne; his parents, Adolf and Mathilda Theriot Lasseigne; and two brothers, Avie and O'neil Lasseigne. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday. A rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Pallbearers will be Logan, Tyler, Jermey and Caleb Lasseigne, Lanier Souider, Darrell Bourque and Dane Green. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
