Breaux Bridge A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 am, on Thursday, January 29, 2015, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Arthur James Landry, 58, who passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2015. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge from 7:00 am until 10:00 am on Thursday. A rosary will be prayed at 8:00 am on Thursday. Rev. Joseph Campion will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Reading the scriptures for the service will be Dameka Landry Robertson and Britteny Gordon. Serving as gift bearers will be Tenisha Landry and Natasha Landry. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Arthur loved to watch westerns on television. He loved his children and family. He also loved spending time with his friends. He is survived by his parents, Earl Landry, Sr. and Ophelia Jean Batiste Landry, his sons, Kenry Landry and Shannon Landry and his wife Jennifer Brown Landry, his daughters, Tenisha Landry and Natasha Landry Dugas and her husband Clayton, his brother, Earl Landry, Jr. and his wife Patricia Eaglin Landry, his sisters, Mathilda Landry and her husband Vincent, Brenda Landry, Linda Landry, Theresa Landry, Bernadine Stevenns and her husband Floyd, his grandchildren, Braylon Landry, Armani Mouton, Malik Gloston, Shande Landry, Shanlee Landry, Ariana Wiltz and Nadia Landry. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Landry, maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Batiste and his nephew, Travis Boo Landry. Pallbearers will be Cedric Landry, Shelton Landry, Corey Francis, Joe Batiste, Abraham Landry and Theodore Landry. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge, 211 Berard St. is in charge of arrangements.
