St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. , on Monday, December 5, 2011 , at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Arthur 'Bud' Theriot, 91, who passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Lafayette General Medical Center . Rev. Rusty Richard will officiate at the service. Gift bearers will be Kuri and Karley Louviere. Entombment will follow at St. Michael Mausoleum in St. Martinville. Survivors include his sons, Michael Theriot, Daniel Theriot and his wife, Billy; his daughters Cheryl Delahoussaye and her husband, Marcel, Louisette Theriot and her husband, Jay; his sisters in law, Luna Theriot and Nita Theriot; 6 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Lasseigne Theriot; his parents, Louisette Bienvenu Theriot and Arthur Joseph Theriot, Sr.; 8 brothers and sisters. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday and continue at 8:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Monday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday. Pallbearers will be Darrel Theriot, Wayne Theriot, Trey Theriot, Thomas Lasseigne, Marcel Delahaoussaye, Jr. and Michael Theriot. Pellerin Funeral Homeof St.Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
