Rynella - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, on Thursday, March 31, 2016, at St. Marcellus Catholic Church in Rynella, for Ashley Elizabeth Russo, 29, who passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2016, in New Iberia. Entombment will follow in the Holy Family Cemetery. Rev. Kendal Faulk will be the Celebrant. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 PM Wednesday. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 8:00 AM until 10:15 AM. A native of New Iberia, Ashley was born on October 31, 1986, and was a graduate of New Iberia Senior High and the University of Louisiana Lafayette. She enjoyed arts and crafts, and was very creative. Survivors include her mother, Myra Krepper Russo of New Iberia; sister, Claire Russo of New Iberia; grandparents, Yvonne Boudreaux Russo and Jasper Russo, Sr. of New Iberia; niece, Tonilynn Penns; nephews, Tayten Russo, and Taylor Russo; and several aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by father, Kevin John Russo; grandparents, Whitney Krepper, Sr., and Nettie Moss Krepper.
