Aubree "Toota" Faye Taylor

Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3:00 pm on Monday, January 27, 2020, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia for Aubree "Toota" Faye Taylor, 1, who passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020, at Children's Hospital in New Orleans. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10:30 am until 3:00 pm on Monday. Rev. Gregory Cormier will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Aubree had a personality that made everyone laugh and eyes that were so blue, you felt you were surrounded by a sense warmth and love. She had an incredible relationship with her Nana and Poppa whom she had rapped around her little finger. Aubree loved face time, taking pictures, playing with her big brother and listening to her favorite song, Rumor, by Lee Brice. Anyone who met Aubree instantly fell in love with her and remained connected through her family and social media. She will be sadly missed by her family and everyone who knew and loved her. She is survived by her parents, Joseph and LaNey Taylor of Breaux Bridge; brother, Kaden Taylor of Breaux Bridge; maternal grandparents, Liney and Laurie LaCour Trahan of Butte LaRose; paternal grandparents, Donovan and Charlene Begnaud Taylor of Arnaudville; godparents, Rusty and Nikki Ducote Reed of Arnaudville; uncles, Brent Trahan, Matthew, Joshua and Derrick Taylor; aunts, Whittney Trahan and Celina Thibodeaux; and cousins, Gracie Trahan, Hunter Thibodeaux and Winter Reed. She was preceded in death by her maternal great grandparents, Kirby and Alice Faye LaCour; paternal great grandfather, Harris Taylor; and Baby Taylor. Pallbearers will be Brent Trahan, Matthew Taylor, Rusty Reed, and Colt Landry. Honorary pallbearers will be James "Bubba" Bethea Jr., Harley Thibodeaux, and Derrick Taylor. Joseph and LaNey would like to extend their immense gratitude to Dr. Weimer, 6th Center, Dr. Freiburg and the PICU nurses at Children's Hospital, Dr. Sicard and her amazing therapist, Michelle for the care, kindness and compassion provided to them and Aubree.
