Audie James Castille

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, January 18, 2010, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Audie James Castille, 51, who passed away Friday morning. Interment will follow at Bergeron Oaks Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Pastor Joseph Jenkins of Teche Baptist Church will conduct the funeral service. Audie served in the 256th Infantry Army National Guard for 2 years, having been honorably discharged on October 15, 1981. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved ones, cooking, gardening, and listening to music. A loving father, husband, brother, son, and friend, Audie was a very unselfish man who was sincerely devoted to his family. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Brenda Morin Castille, of Breaux Bridge; one son, Joshua Castille, of Breaux Bridge; two daughters, Mallory Castille and her fianc, Jason Thompson, of Tacoma, WA, and Marla Castille and her fianc, Jarrod Melancon, of Breaux Bridge; his parents, Patrick "Pat" and Renella Bergeron Castille, of Breaux Bridge; two brothers, Danny Castille and wife, Carmen, of Parks, and Stoney Castille and his companion, Kelly Castille, of Vatican; three sisters, Melissa Castille and companion, Alfred Landry, of Breaux Bridge, Melanie Wiltz and husband, Ronnie, of Henderson, and Miriam Huval and husband, Ben, of Breaux Bridge; and two grandchildren, Riley and Adiline Thompson. He was preceded in death by his sister, Christine Castille; and his grandparents, John and Celine Castille, and Whitney and Anna Bergeron. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Sunday and continue at 8 a.m. on Monday until time of service. Pallbearers will be Stoney Castille, Josh Castille, Jarrod Melancon, Jordy Castille, Ben Huval, and Ronnie Wiltz. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ;his family. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
