Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Audrey Mae Auguillard, 83, who passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021, at residence.The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 am until 9:30 am on Saturday.A rosary will be prayed at 8:00 am on Saturday.Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge.Audrey Mae was born in Cecilia on July 23, 1937. In her early years, she looked after her siblings for her parents to work. When she was old enough, she followed her parents who were farmers to provide for their family. She worked in the seafood business as an adult for 30 years! She was a great swimmer, great cook, loved to do yard work and planting in her garden. She loved her family so much. Her kids and grandchildren were her world. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Charles Auguillard of Breaux Bridge; sons, Gerald Auguillard of Breaux Bridge, Michael Auguillard (Susan) of Seattle, WA and Harold Auguillard of Breaux Bridge; sister, Mary Boyd of Breaux Bridge; grandchildren, Alice Auguillard, Joseph Auguillard, April Auguillard, Bernadette Auguillard, Audrey Auguillard, Kealer Petry, Keacer Petry, Michael Auguillard, Jr. and Raymond Auguillard; great-grandchildren, Jasmine Auguillard, Maxie Batiste, Markalon Batiste, Jaleise Batiste, Ronnie Auguillard, Camellia Auguillard, Mylah Auguillard, Bryson Auguillard, Madison Auguillard, Taylor Olivier, Christian Olivier, and Madison Olivier; and great-great-grandchild, Avaia Harrison. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Champagne, Sr. and Bernadette LeBlanc Champagne; infant daughter, Alice Auguillard; and brothers, Clarence Champagne, Jr., John Champagne, Whitney Champagne and Jenning Champagne. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Auguillard, Maxie Batiste, Markalon Batiste, Matthew Malbrew, Bryson Auguillard and Dauntaye Harrison.Honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Auguillard, Michael Auguillard, Harold Auguillard, Joseph Auguillard, Jr., Michael Auguillard, Jr., Raymond Auguillard, Robert Auguillard and Donavan Sam. The family would like to thank Amedysis Hospice for their compassionate care during her final life journey. Also, a very special thank you to her nurse Ms. Linda.
