New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 3 PM, Wednesday September 13, 2006, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in New Iberia for Audrey Rivette, 56, who died Monday September 11, 2006 at her residence. Entombment will be in Holy Family Cemetery. Rev. Zach Mitchell, pastor of Interfaith Fellowship, will conduct the services. Born on October 8, 1949, in St. Martinville, Audrey is the daughter of Elfige Robicheaux and Grace Chataignier Robicheaux. She enjoyed her work at Bruce Foods and especially at the Arc of Iberia where she touched many hearts. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. Survivors include her sons, Dennis and Dody Rivette of New Iberia; her mother, Grace Robicheaux of St. Martinville; brothers, Curtis Robicheaux of New Iberia and Michael Robicheaux and his wife Kathy of St. Martinville; sisters, Tammy Brasseaux of St. Martinville, Jane Martin and her husband Gregory, Debby Usey and her husband William, Rona Neal and her friend Robert Comb, Hedy Estilette and her husband Russell and Jenny Hulin and her husband Jessie; her grandson Aiden Rivette, all of New Iberia In addition to her father, Audrey is preceded in death by her brother Mark Robicheaux, her niece, Dawn Lilley and sister-in-law, Judy Robicheaux A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday, September 12, 2006 from 10 am until 10 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. Visitation will continue Wednesday at 8 am until time of service. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Dennis Rivette, Aiden Rivette, Kirk Robicheaux, Troy Romero, Richard Daigle, Nelson Trahan and Todd Romero. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Amber Landry and Kim Speer for the care that was given to Audrey during her illness.
