St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 23, 2011, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Audrey Junior Turpeau, Sr., 84, who passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at St. Martinville Rehab & Nursing Center. Scriptures will be read by Dr. Shatona Berard and Krystal Francois. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery in St. Martinville. Mr. Turpeau enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include three sons, Alonzo Turpeau of Pasadena, California, Audrey Turpeau, Jr. of Houston, Texas, and Troy Turpeau of St. Martinville; one daughter, Krystal Turpeau of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Goldie Charles of Houston, Texas, and Madeline Wyche of St. Martinville; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, McKinley and Ernestine Andrus Turpeau; and one brother, Wilbert Turpeau.
