Audry Frederick, Sr., better known throughout the community as “Mr. Bay”, was a well-respected businessman and plumber. He was born on December 10, 1930, and lived until the age of 92.
Audry was known for his hard work and dedication to his craft. He worked for St. Martin Parish School Board where he retired and went on to having a successful career as a plumber for many years and earned the respect of his peers in the industry. Mr. Bay gave a lot of his time and service to both parish churches. He took great pride in his work and always went above and beyond for his clients.
Despite his busy schedule, Audry always made time for the people he cared about. He had an infectious smile and a kind demeanor that drew everyone to him. Audry loved chewing Juicy Fruit gum and keeping up with the local gossip. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
In his free time, Audry enjoyed gardening and watching CNN for the latest news updates. His love of gardening showcased his commitment to nurturing life as he planted seeds and watched his vegetables grow, to share with his family and friends.
Despite our sadness at losing such a wonderful member of our community, we celebrate Audry's life today. He meant so much to so many people and will be missed deeply by all who knew him. We extend our deepest condolences to Audry's family during this difficult time, but we know that his spirit will live on through the memories we cherish of him forevermore. His legacy lives on in his family, friends, and community.
