Aurelia Howard Robertson

New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, November 6, 2006, at Pellerin Funeral Home, in New Iberia, for Aurelia Howard Robertson, 90, who died Saturday, November 04, 2006 in New Iberia. Interment will be in the Franklin Cemetery . Chaplain Richard Zolecki will conduct the service. Mrs. Robertson enjoyed walking, going to the casino, and most of all family outings and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include daughters, Jeanette Theriot and companion Bobby of Abbeville, Betty Courville and husband "T-Boy" of New Iberia, Roberta Pellerin and husband Nolan of New Iberia, Mary Green and husband Johnny of Jeanerette; son, James "JC" Howard and wife Hilda of Abbeville; brother, Roland Howard of Sampson, Alabama; special niece, Essie Mae Woodsworth of Pensacola, Florida; 17 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 20 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Robertson, and her parents, Charles and Docha Howard. A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday from 3:00 PM until 10:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, in New Iberia. Visitation will continue Monday from 8:00 AM until time of service. Pallbearers will be Tony Perez, Ernie Perez, Darrin Perez, Dallas Theriot, Jimmy Howard, and John Green, Jr. The family would like to express special thanks to St. Theresa Hospice and to Iberia Manor North for their care and compassion.
