Ava Elizabeth Hanks

Breaux Bridge - Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 20, 2006, at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge for Ava Elizabeth Hanks, one month old, of Lafayette, Louisiana, daughter of Aaron Amos and Marie-Elise Bulliard Hanks, who passed away at Children's Hospital in New Orleans on Saturday, June 17, 2006. In her short stay with us, Ava was much loved and touched so very many lives and will be deeply missed. ?She was our miracle and now is our angel. Survivors include her maternal grandparents, Christina and Robert Bulliard of Parks; paternal grandparents, Isabelle and Lester Bourg of Plaquemine; and David and Linda Hanks of Lake Arthur; maternal great grandparents, Thomas J. and Viva Broussard Periou; and paternal great grandmother, Marion Hanks Semar; her aunts, Judith Hanks LeBlanc of Carencro, Christina Bourg and Lauren Bourg of Plaquemine; her uncles, Gabriel Bulliard of Lafayette, Mark Hanks of New Jersey, Michael Hanks of Lafayette and Johnathon Hanks of Sunset. She was preceded in death by her maternal great grandparents, Robert and Blanche Gary Bulliard. Pallbearers will be Mark, Michael and Johnathon Hanks. The family would like to give special thanks to all of the nurses and doctors at Lafayette General Medical Center NICU and Children's Hospital of New Orleans NICU for their care, compassion, and kindness during this time.
