Avery Shae-Ann Arnaud

Delcambre - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 1, 2017, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Delcambre for Avery Shae-Ann Arnaud, 2, who passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017, in Lafayette. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday from 4:00 PM until Thursday morning at 9:00 AM. A rosary, led by the Men's Rosary Group, will be prayed at 7:00 PM Wednesday. Avery was born on October 2, 2014 in Lafayette, and was full of energy. She enjoyed watching the Mickey Mouse Club House, Doc McStuffins, and Ryan's Toy Review. Her favorite song was "Happy Birthday" and she would sing it every day. Avery also enjoyed playing checkup, riding her bike, playing outside, playing with her dogs, Trixi and Prissy, and she especially loved "Face Time" on the phone. Survivors include her mother, Dawn Arnaud and companion Brock Richard of Delcambre; father, Scott Arnaud and companion Angie of Coteau; grandparents, Willie and Jackie Arnaud of New Iberia, Lucas Gorman of Delcambre; her mimi, Sherry Bayard of New Iberia; great grandmother, Mary Jane Menard of Coteau; uncle, Erick Arnaud of New Iberia; aunts, Heather White of New Iberia, Tammy Melancon of Coteau; godfather, Ronnie Simon of Loreauville; and godmother, Tammy Fontenot of Loreauville. She was preceded in death by her brother, Matthew Arnaud, grandparents, Donna Menard, and Judy Gorman, and a great grandfather, Eugene Menard. Pallbearers will be Jaron Henry, Eric Dorsey, Toby Cormier, and Jacob Hebert.
