Baily Ian Mount

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, January 5, 2008, at Jenkins Memorial Baptist Church in St. Martinville, for Baily Ian Mount, 13, who passed away on Monday, December 31, 2007. Interment will follow at Methodist Cemetery, in St. Martinville. Pastor Jessie Charpentier will officiate at the funeral service. Baily was a lifelong resident of St. Martinville. He was a 6th grade student at St. Martinville Junior High School and was a member of Jenkins Memorial Baptist Church in St. Martinville. He enjoyed football, skateboarding, drawing, and painting. He was known as being the "Peace Maker" to all. Survivors include his mother, Robin Mount, of St. Martinville; his brother, Cody James Macip, of Parks; his sister, Tristan Macip, of Montreal, Canada; his maternal grandparents, Patsy and Clyde Akers, Jr., of St. Martinville; and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Mount, of Cecilia. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert C. Mount. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. on Friday and continue until 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Pallbearers will be Stephen Akers, Isaac Akers, Clyde Akers, IV, Kenny Laperouse, Jr., James Akers, and Jean Talley. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
