New Iberia - A Memorial Service will be held at 3:30 pm on Friday, March 5, 2021, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Barbara Boudoin LeBlanc, 72, who passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021, at Iberia Medical Center.
Rev. Ed Degeyter will officiate.
Interment will be at a later date.
A gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home. A rosary, led by the Men’s Rosary Group, will be prayed at 6:00 pm Friday.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, face masks and social distancing are required.
A lifelong area resident, Mrs. LeBlanc was born on September 13, 1948 to the late Wilton and Winola Belaire Boudoin, and was a true nature and animal lover. She enjoyed watching the birds in her bird feeders and would adopt, and taking care of everyone’s pets as her own. Mrs. LeBlanc also loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Steve J. LeBlanc, Sr. of New Iberia; daughters, Lori LeBlanc (Gregg) Louviere of St. Martinville, and Pam LeBlanc of Avery Island; sisters, Angie Leleux of New Iberia, Tammy Boudoin of New Iberia, Dana (Jim) Carte of Parks, and Brandi (Nick) Fitch of Coteau; brothers, Chris (Sandi) Leleux of New Iberia, Joey "Durice" (Amy) Leleux of FL, Wilton "Doody" Boudoin, Jr. of AZ, and Connif (Tricia) Boudoin of New Iberia; stepfather, Durice (Vera) Leleux Sr. of New Iberia; step mother, Betty LeBlanc of New Iberia; grandchildren, Kasey Delcambre, Scotty Landry, Jr., Steven (Jennifer) LeBlanc, III, Hanz Louviere, and Bronson Louviere; six great grandchildren; special nieces and nephews, Leslie Bienvenu, Alyssa Leleux, Lexi Shine, Kody Toups, and Christopher Leleux; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Steve LeBlanc, Jr.; father, Wilton Boudoin; mother, Winola Belaire Leleux; and a sister, Mona Simon.
