New Iberia-Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, on Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in New Iberia, for Barbara Ann Foco,52, who passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2009 in New Iberia.
Interment will follow in Broussard Cemetery.
Born on March 28, 1957, Barbara was an active member in the community regarding governmental issues. She was the president for the Louisiana non-profit organization Help for Sewage Victims, which originated in Everson, Washington.
Survivors include her husband, Adrian Charles Richard of New Iberia; her daughter, Adrie' Ann Nichole Richard of Youngsville; her sisters, Mary Kennedy of Jeanerette, Beverly Dunie' of Austin, Jeannie Clements of Charenton, Gail Thibodeaux of Jeanerette, Ellen Ayers of Normagee, TX; her grandchildren, Alexia Lynne Richard and Ayden Joseph Hebert.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Porrier and sister, Carol Boutun.
Pallbearers will be Daryn Richard, Kerry Richard, Robert Richard, Carl Toups, Robert Derise and George Rodriguez.
Honorary Pallbearers include Don Bostic, Robert Mouton and Troy Hebert.
A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia. Visitation will continue Wednesday from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
