Barbara Gail Bouillion

New Iberia – A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Pellerin Funeral Home, for Barbara Gail LaSalle Bouillion, who passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023.

Entombment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery.

Deacon Durk Viator will officiate.

Visitation will be Thursday, from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm, at Pellerin Funeral Home. A rosary will be prayed at 12:30 pm Thursday.

A resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Bouillion was born on January 26, 1945, in Erath, to the late Manson and Lula Benoit LaSalle. She was a devout Catholic and was a member of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Bereavement Committee. Mrs. Bouillion enjoyed playing cards, pokeno, bou-ree, bingo, crafting and taking care of her family, especially her grandchildren.  

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Robert Joseph Bouillion; children, Monica Bouillion, Christine Trimble, Brad Bouillion (Katie) and Scott Bouillion (Hollie); grandchildren, Heidi Watkins, Brody Bouillion, Reese Bouillion, Bennett Bouillion, Paityn Simmons, Lillie Armstrong, and Masyn Armstrong; great grandchildren, Julien Watkins and Brynn Watkins; brother, John LaSalle (Verian); and sister-in-law, Bertha LaSalle.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, David Trimble and a brother, Herbert LaSalle.

Pallbearers will be Brad Bouillion, Scott Bouillion, Brody Bouillion, Kevin Champagne, Carroll Ray Guilbeaux, & Brison Segura
