Barbara Ann Landry

New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, November 17, 2016, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Barbara Ann Landry, 62, who passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2016 in Lafayette. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. Rev. Ed Degeyter will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary, led by the Men's Group, will be prayed at 7:00 PM Wednesday. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM. A native of New Iberia, Ms. Landry was born on August 27, 1954 to Raywood and Thelma LaPointe Landry. She was a member of the New Iberia Jaycees for many years. Mrs. Landry worked at the Tobacco Plus, Dominos, and Quick Copy before becoming ill. During her free time, she enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, the outdoors, football, wrestling and going to the casino. Ms. Landry cherished moments spent with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Joseph Dean of New Iberia; father, Raywood Landry of New Iberia; sons, Elton Myers of Kaplan, Sidney Myers and wife Kayla of New Iberia; daughters, Crystal Myers and companion Dickie Leblanc of New Iberia, Nichole Rivers and husband Ramsey of New Iberia, Michelle Myers of Lake Charles; brother, Raymond Landry and wife Annie of New Iberia; sisters, Priscilla Borres and husband Brian of Loreauville, Kathy Landry and husband Mike Gerald of Youngsville, Rayette Mcnett and husband Harold of New Iberia, Donna Landry of New Iberia; 17 grandchildren, Madayln Rivers, Kayson Owens, Marcus Trahan, Larry Trahan, Jr., Bryson Theriot, Kaylin Courville, Sydnee Estelle, Nicholas Orlando, Wyatt Myers, Brianna Bourque, Zayden Myers, Andrew Grisiaffi, Chad Schexneider, Gage Anderson, Micheal Myers, Paige Myers, and Skyla Gibson. She was preceded in death by mother, Thelma LaPointe Landry; grandmother, Inez Sonnier; grandparents, Senuah and Sadie Landry; brother in law, Harold Myers. Pallbearers will be Ramsey Rivers, Sidney Myers, Andrew Grisiaffi, Elton Myers, Jason Landry, and Brandon Landry.
