Barbara Daigle Simon

Henderson- Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, May 13, 2006, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson for Barbara Daigle Simon, 59, who died Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at her residence. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. As a licensed florist, Barbara loved working with flowers. She also had a passion for art; her creative and artistic abilities appeared in both her drawings and floral designs. Survivors include her husband, Stephen Simon of Henderson; her daughters, Carmen Ross and Catherine Ross, both of Carencro; her mother, Ruth Braud Daigle of Henderson; her brothers, Robert Daigle of Cecilia and Vernon Daigle, Jr. of Birmingham, AL; and three grandchildren, Landon Ross, Marlie Tomsu, and Matison Ross. She was preceded in death by her father, Vernon Daigle, Sr.; and her brother, Frank Anthony Daigle. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 am till 10:00 pm on Friday, May 12, 2006 and continue 8:00 am Saturday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Friday evening. Pallbearers will be Robert Daigle, III, Vernon Daigle, Jr., Landon Ross, Ryan Daigle, Allen McGee, and Scott Tomsu. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Simon, Bryan Simon, Jim Rexroat, and Don Perrett. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements
