Breaux Bridge A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am, on Saturday, October 25, 2014, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Beatrice Zenon Broussard, 82, who passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2014, at St. Martin Hospital. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Friday, and continue on Saturday at 7:00 am until 10:00 am, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm on Friday. Rev. Joseph Campion will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Dana Broussard and Tiffany Clay. Gift Bearers will be Eugene and Gertie Broussard. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Ms. Bee, as we all knew her, worked in the school system for many years until retirement. She was married 62 years to the man of her dreams. True to his word, till death do us part. She was a reader in church, she loved to spend time with her grandkids and family. MawMaw enjoyed going to Bingo and the casino. She had a strong connection with her Catholic Faith. One cannot explain the void that will be left in our hearts. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Dorville Bullon Broussard; two sons, Archie (Mary) Broussard of Clovis, New Mexico and Eugene (Gertie) Broussard, Sr. of Breaux Bridge; five grandchildren, Tina Broussard, Tiffany Clay, Eugene Broussard, Jr., Kendrick Broussard, and Dana Broussard; five great grandchildren, Shanique Broussard, Keegan Clay, Dylon Clay, Nijona Broussard, and Layla Lemelle; and a host of family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Michaele Derouselle and Pascal Zenon; three sisters, Marie Enola Helaire, Mary Garcet Shelton, and Ezora Zenon Collins. Pallbearers will be Kendrick Broussard, Eugene Broussard, Jr., Keegan Clay, Roman Landry, Paul Shelton, and Roman Landry, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be James Broussard, Steve Shelton, Richard Shelton, and Joseph Helaire.
