Beatrice Wiltz Leon

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 12, 2005, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in St. Martinville for Beatrice Wiltz Leon, 86, who died Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Mrs. Leon was a member of the Notre Dame Catholic Church Ladies Altar Society and the Union Benevolent Society. Survivors include her sons, Joseph Francis Leon, Sr. and his wife, Jerry of Cade, Wallace Leon and his wife, Judy of Memphis, TN, and Clarence Leon and his wife, Domonique of Cal City, CA; her daughters, Lee Audrey Leon of St. Martinville, Joyce Leon McLin of New Orleans, and Winola Leon Phillips, and her husband, James of Parks; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Leon; her daughters, Mary Mazel Leon and Juanita Leon; her sons, Norris and Arthur Paul Leon; her parents, Galbert and Pauline Savoy Wiltz; her sisters, Stella Perkins, Viola Potier, Celine Roberts, Fabiola Williams, Yola Mouton, and Marie Simmons; and her brothers, Renee', Gabriel, Gilbert, Ena, Dumas, Joseph, and Levee Wiltz. The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Notre Dame Church from 7:00 a.m. on Monday and continue until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Monday. Pallbearers will be Joseph Leon, Jr., Dwayne Leon, Rodrick Wayne Leon, Dorian Leon, Korey Leon, and Lorenzo Phillips.
