Becky Gary Bonin

New Iberia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, on Thursday, January 14, 2016, at St. Peter Catholic Church in New Iberia, for Becky Gary Bonin, 60, who passed away on Friday, January 8, 2016, in Houston, Texas. Entombment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary, led by Deacon Wade Broussard, will be prayed at 6:30 PM on Wednesday. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 8:00 AM until 9:30 AM. Becky was born on August 19, 1955 in New Iberia, to Ray and Gloria Landry Gary, and was a graduate of New Iberia Senior High. She attended USL, now the University of Louisiana Lafayette, and her hobbies included tennis, and gardening. Becky was a longtime area resident and had lived in Spring, Texas for the past eight years. Survivors include her husband, David Bonin of Spring, Texas; son, Jared Bonin and wife Krista of Covington; sister, Beth LaBiche and husband Whitney LaBiche, Jr. of New Iberia; brothers, Guy Gary of New Iberia, Glen Gary and wife Monica of New Iberia; father-in-law and mother-in-law, J. Warren and Doris Dartez Bonin of New Iberia; sister-in-law, Alison Mendoza and husband Scott of New Iberia; and several nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Pallbearers will be Jared Bonin, Jeremy LaBiche, Quentin LaBiche, Brandon LaBiche, Seth Gary, and Trace Gary.
