Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 21, 2006, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge for Benjamin Omer Wells, Sr., 57, who died Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Interment will be at Belle River Baptist Cemetery in Pierre Part, LA. Survivors include his wife, Rita Romero Wells of Breaux Bridge; two sons, Benjamin O. Wells, Jr. and his wife, Brianna Faidley of Berwick and Whitney C. Wells and his wife, April Watson of Hagerstown, MD; one daughter, Jodie W. Bourg and her husband, Lance of Berwick; four brothers, Charles S. Wells, Jr. of Murrells Inlet, SC, Kenneth Wells of Atlanta, GA, Marty Wells of Charleston, SC and Ricky James Wells of Murrells Inlet, SC; two sisters, Doris W. McCormick of Charleston, SC and Janice Carol W. Bernard of Murrells Inlet, SC; and thirteen grandchildren, Benjamin E. Wells, Blaine M. Wells, Bradley C. Wells, all of Jeanerette, Ashton J. Wells of Pierre Part, Hunter C. Wells, Grayson T. Wells, Bryan L. Gaudet, Jr., all of Berwick, Dylan J. Teeter, Nikki M. Teeter, both of San Antonio, TX, Brent Estep, Jr., Devin Houser, Haylee Houser, all of Hagerstown, MD, and Tanner L. Bourg of Berwick; and his best friend, Brad May of Morgan City. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Nikki Octavia Marie Wells; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles S. Wells; and two brothers, David O. and Larry E. Wells. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 p.m. ~ 10:00 p.m. on Friday and continue at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday until time of service.
