BreauxBridge - Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. , on Saturday, November 5, 2011, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Bernard Forest Roberts, II, 43, who passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette. Rev. Richard Meche, pastor of Christian Life Center will officiate. Mr. Roberts worked in the car business for over 20 years. He was currently the finance manager at Courtesy Ford. He was a devoted husband and father. He was a proud grandfather to be with the upcoming birth of his 1st grandchild. Survivors include his wife, Jennifer LeBlanc Roberts; his mother, Gwen Mallet; his step-father, Dean Mallet; his maternal grandmother, Edwina Picou; his sons, Meguel Francis Roberts and his fianc, Katie Jo McNabb and Rorey John Roberts; his daughters, Macey Renaye Roberts and her companion, Josh Sanders and Gracey Collin Roberts; sister, Dawn Andrews and her husband, Stan; his in-laws, Roy LeBlanc and Sandra Scrantz; his life-long friend, Marcuis Gibson and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, John Edward Roberts; paternal grandparents, Bernard Forest Roberts I and Tressie Roberts; his maternal grandfather, Summers Picou. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 11 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to help defray funeral cost.
