Bernice Latiolais Thibodeaux

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, January 4, 2008, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Bernice Latiolais Thibodeaux, 79, who died on Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at her residence. Entombment will follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum No. 1, in Breaux Bridge. Fr. Paul LaFleur, Pastor of St. Bernard Catholic Church, will officiate at the funeral Mass. ?The reader will be Kimberly Thibodeaux, and gift bearers will be her grandchildren. Mrs. Thibodeaux served as a Lay Minister for St. Bernard Church Parish at St. Agnes Nursing Home for 20 years, while also providing ministry to the homebound. ?She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, watching music videos and going to eat out. ?She was an avid football follower while her husband, Earl, was living. Survivors include one son, Ronny B. Thibodeaux and his wife, Kimberly, of Breaux Bridge; one daughter, Molly Ann Angelle and her husband, Neil, of Breaux Bridge; her daughter-in-law, Linda Doise, of Vacaunville, CA; one brother, Norris Latiolais, of Breaux Bridge; four grandchildren, Brian Thibodeaux, of Duncan, OK, Nicole Angelle, and Dustin Angelle, both of Breaux Bridge, and Lane Brodie Thibodeaux, of St. Martinville; a granddaughter-in-law, Dana T. Thibodeaux, of Duncan, OK; three great grandchildren, Lauren Taylor, Mandy Taylor, and Meagan Taylor, all of Duncan, OK; and one great-great granddaughter, Cameron Johnson, of Duncan, OK. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Thibodeaux; her son, Ira J. Thibodeaux; her grandson, Ronny B. Thibodeaux, II; her parents, Lloyd and Lucy Hayes Latiolais; and two brothers, Hobson and Wiley Latiolais. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 11:00 a.m. on Thursday and continue until 9:30 a.m. on Friday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday evening. Pallbearers will be Neil Angelle, Ronny Thibodeaux, Brian Thibodeaux, Dustin Angelle, Mitchell Faugot, and Elton Latiolais. Honorary pallbearer will be Lane Brodie Thibodeaux. Memorial donations, in her name, may be made to Journey Hospice, 101 LaRue France, Ste. 406, Lafayette, LA 70508. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
