Bertha Mason Maxwell

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 10, 2006, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Bertha Mason Maxwell, 93, who died Saturday, May 6, 2006 at St. Martin Hospital in Breaux Bridge. Entombment will be in St. Bernard Mausoleum No. 1 in Breaux Bridge. Mrs. Maxwell enjoyed gardening and taking care of her yard. ?She loved her cat ""Babe"". Survivors include her step-daughter, Georgette Campo of Hammond. She was preceded in death by her husband, Burnell Maxwell; her brothers, Issac and George Mason; and her sisters, Nana Mason Guidry, Mayeaux Castille, and Lorine Maxwell. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 a.m. ~ 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday and continue at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday until time of service. A rosary will be recited Tuesday evening. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
