Bertha Dauphine Savoy

Henderson - Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m.,Tuesday, June 5, 2007, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, in Henderson for Bertha Dauphine Savoy, 86, who died on Sunday, June 3, 2007 at her residence in Nina. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery ?in Cecilia. Bertha enjoyed cooking and most of all spending time with her family. Survivors include her son, Lonnie Savoy and his wife, Gail of Nina; her daughters, Judy Savoy, Yvonne Guidry and her husband, Stephen and Cindy Savoy all of Nina; her brother, Leroy Dauphine of Nina and her sister, Lillian Robertson of Henderson; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alpha Savoy; her parents, Loadis and Merida Courville Dauphine; her sisters, Belizire Dauphine, Estelle Allemond, Yola Dejean and Yolinde Landry; her brothers, Thomas Dauphine, Paul Dauphine, Simon Dauphine, Bussey Dauphine and J.C. Dauphine. ? The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:30 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Monday, June 4, 2007 and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday until time of service. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m., Monday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Henderson is in charge of arrangements.
