Betty Robertson Courville

New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, on Friday, August 28, 2015, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Betty Robertson Courville, 72, who passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2015, in New Iberia. Burial will follow in the St. John Cemetery in Jeanerette. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 9:30 AM until 2:00 PM. A longtime area resident, Mrs. Courville was born on July 8, 1943 to Ernest Robertson and Aurelia Gerald Robertson. She was retired from the Iberia Parish School Board, and she enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.. Survivors include her husband, Exilie "T-Boy" Courville of New Iberia; sons, Shelton Courville and wife Lisa of New Iberia, Dean Courville and wife Cyndi of New Iberia, Shane Courville of Baton Rouge; brother, J.C. Howard and wife Hilda of Abbeville; sisters, Roberta Pellerin and husband Nolan of Rynella, Mary Green and husband Johnny of Jeanerette; grandchildren, Blair Mouton, Heidi Watkins, Bryan Courville, Blake Courville, Brody Courville, Dylan Courville, Brianna Courville, Bailey Courville, Hannah Courville, Haleigh Courville, Luke Courville, Londyn Courville; and 5 Great Grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Dan Joseph Courville; a daughter, Shelly Courville; sister, Jeanette Theriot; and her mother-in-law, Albertine Perez. Pallbearers will be Bryan Courville, Blake Courville, Brody Courville, Dylan Courville, Luke Courville, and Heidi Watkins. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the family.
