Betty K. Quebedeaux

Arnaudville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, June 26, 2023, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church for Betty Joyce Marie Kidder Quebedeaux, 89, who passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at her residence.

A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Arnaudville on Sunday from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm and will continue on Monday from 8:00 am until 10:30 am.

A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Sunday evening.

Monsignor Keith DeRouen will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery.

Betty was a life-long parishioner of St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church. Her faith was an essential part of her life and brought her great comfort and strength.

Betty had a love for adventure, especially camping and traveling with her husband and friends. She cherished the moments spent exploring new places and creating unforgettable memories.

When not on the road, Betty could always be found on Walmart runs with her sister or spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had an unbreakable bond with her loved ones and treasured each moment spent together. Betty was a pleasant and friendly soul who made friends with everyone she met.

Those who knew Betty will always remember the kindness she extended to everyone she encountered. Her warm smile and caring demeanor will be missed by all who had the pleasure of crossing paths with her.

She is survived by her sons, Dwayne Quebedeaux (Susan) and Darrell Quebedeaux (Sophia); grandchildren, Gina Boullion (Scott), Emily Quebedeaux (Mitch), Joseph Quebedeaux, Mia K. Redd (Tim), Maci L. Quebedeaux (Ryan), Darrell James Quebedeaux, II, and Nikki Clark; and her great-grandchildren, Austin Jude, Evelyn Rose, Elaine Iris, Riley, Captain, and Sora.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leo Quebedeaux; sons, Keith Allen Quebedeaux and Anthony James Quebedeaux; parents, Raymond Kidder, Sr. and Leah Hollier Kidder; and ten siblings.

The family wishes to thank the entire staff of Hospice of Acadiana, including the doctors, nurses and sitters for the care and compassion they provided.
