Beulah Billiot

Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am, on Friday, June 15, 2012, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Beulah Marie Verdin Billiot, 74, who passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 8:00 am until 10:30 am on Friday. A rosary will be recited at 10:00 am on Friday. Rev. Michael Delcambre will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Steven Billiot and Lindsey Curole. Gift Bearers will be Joshua Billiot, Bryce Collins, and Jasmine Billiot. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Beulah enjoyed cooking, especially her homemade bread. She enjoyed French music on Saturday mornings and spending time with her family and friends. Her family was her life. She is survived by her five sons, Clovis (Debbie Lynn) Billiot Jr. of Breaux Bridge, Clifton A. Billiot of Larose, Jimmy (Tracy) Billiot of Arnaudville, Stanley (Belinda) Billiot of Mt. Herman, and Steven (Wilma) Billiot of Breaux Bridge, her three daughters, Carolyn (Thomas) Matherne of Breaux Bridge, Barbara (Delvin, Jr.) Dupre of Breaux Bridge, and Cathy (Logan) Collins of Larose, her 19 grandchildren, her 20 great grandchildren, her four brothers, Simon Verdin of Cut Off, Ulyssee (Andy) Verdin of Golden Meadow, George Verdin of Cut Off, and Jessie (Catherine) Verdin of Cut Off, her four sisters, Jeanne (Daniel) Lebeouf of Larose, Alexina Lebeouf of Larose, Livia Crosby of Golden Meadow, Anna Mae (Wilton) Delaune of Cut Off. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clovis Joseph Billiot, Sr., her father, Justilien Verdin, her mother, Alzine Serigny Verdin, two brothers, Mark Verdin and Morris Verdin, and her sister, Mary Lee Verdin.
