Billie H. Kleinpeter

New Iberia - Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in New Iberia, for Billie Hebert Kleinpeter, 83, who passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2009 in New Iberia. Mrs. Billie loved to travel with the Gloria Mundi Travel Group, she also enjoyed working in her garden, and loved animals very dearly. She was an active member in various organizations and groups such as: The Iberia Humane Society, Friends of the Shadows on the Teche, and a parishioner for Scared Heart Catholic Church in New Iberia. She was a great wife, mother, grandmother, and friend and will be missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her husband, Lee T. Kleinpeter, Sr. of New Iberia; one son, Lee T. Kleinpeter, Jr. of New Iberia; one daughter, Kathleen Mary K. Miguez and husband Kenneth of New Iberia; one brother, Paul R. Hebert of Lafayette; one sister, Mary H. Hayes of New Iberia; and two grandsons, Thomas Hans and Paul Matthew Kleinpeter of Lafayette; She was preceded in death by her parents, J.W. Bill and May Hebert; her paternal grandparents, Polk and Alice J. Hebert; three infant children, Kay Ellen, Karl Wayne, and Bonnie Anne Kleinpeter; one daughter in law, Margaret Torrey Kleinpeter; brothers, Carlyle J. Hebert, and Francis F. Hebert. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday from 8:30 AM until time of service at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made in Mrs. Billie Kleinpeters name to: Iberia Humane Society, P.O.Box 11422, New Iberia, LA 70562-1422. ;
