Lafayette - A Graveside Service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, August 15, 2015, at Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette, for Billye M. Griffin, 86, who passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2015, in Breaux Bridge. Rev. Drew Sutton will officiate at the Graveside Service. Billye loved her family unconditionally, especially her granddaughter, Jennifer, and great granddaughter, Janie. As a pastime, she enjoyed shopping, going to estate sales, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her son, James Howard Griffin, Jr. and companion, Diane, of Lake Charles; her daughter, Janet Lynn Gross and husband, John, of Breaux Bridge; her granddaughter, Jennifer Lee Doucet and husband, Toby, of Breaux Bridge; and her great granddaughter, Janie Doucet and fianc, Jared LaLonde, of Breaux Bridge. She was preceded in death by her mother, Louise Haws House; and her father and step mother, William C. and Ila Ford. Pallbearers will be Jared Lalonde, Toby Doucet, John Gross, James Griffin, Mike Lindsey, and Vaughn Davis. Honorary pallbearer will be Miles Calais.
