Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. , Monday, September 11, 2006, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Birdie Latiolais Benoit, 87, who died Friday, September 8, 2006 at St. Martin Hospital in Breaux Bridge Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Fr. Donald Leger, pastor of St. Bernard Church will conduct the services. ?Readers will be Cheryl Latiolais and Brenda Benoit; gift bearers will be Cabrini Benoit and Lailor Angelle. ?Music will be provided by Patrick Menard, accompanied by Beth Hebert on the organ. Mrs. Benoit enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and taking care of her family. ?She was a member of the St. Bernard Church Altar Society. Survivors include two sons, Harry L. Benoit and his wife, Bobbie and Darrell Benoit and his wife, Brenda, all of Breaux Bridge; one sister, Nita Mae Latiolais LeBlanc of Breaux Bridge; one brother, James ""T-Jim"" Latiolais of Breaux Bridge; five grandchildren, Jimmy Benoit, Lailor Angelle, Clint Benoit, Jake Benoit and Boyd Benoit; and four great grandchildren, Tr? and Alex Angelle (twins); Harry Benoit, II, and Victoria Louviere. She was preceded in death by her husband, Annessey Benoit; her parents, Remy and Lucille Collet Latiolais; and her sister, Bernice Latiolais Calais. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 a.m. ~ 10:00 p.m. on Sunday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Monday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday evening. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Benoit, Clint Benoit, Jake Benoit, Boyd Benoit, Tr? Angelle, and Alex Angelle. Honorary pallbearer will be Harry Benoit, II. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
