New Iberia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 PM, Monday, February 16, 2015, at St. Peter Catholic Church in New Iberia, for Blair Daly Oubre, 31, who passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2015.
A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A prayer service will be at 7:00 PM Sunday. Visitation will continue on Monday from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM.
Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery in New Iberia.
Rev. Nicholas DuPre and Deacon Jay Bergeron will officiate.
Blair was born on November 30, 1983 and was a graduate of Catholic High in New Iberia. She had a very strong faith in God, and enjoyed family gatherings, rescuing animals, spending time with her family at False River, and especially being a mother to her daughters.
Survivors include her husband, Brandon Oubre of Saint Martinville; parents, David Dolph Daly, Sr. and Claire Trappey Daly of New Iberia; daughters, Brooklynn Alyse Daly and Alexia Rae Oubre of Saint Martinville; brothers, David Dolph Daly, Jr. and wife Lauren Chancellor Daly of Charleston, SC, and Marcus Christopher Daly of Nashville, TN; grandfather, George Trappey, Jr. of New Iberia; niece, Graycen Claire Daly; nephews, David Dolph Daly, III, and Luke Chancellor Daly; and a large loving extended family.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Albert Daly, Bernice Pecko Daly, and Barbara Tomlinson Trappey.
Pallbearers will be Richard Jenks, Michael Daly, Patrick Daly, Michael Trappey, John Trappey, Albert Trappey, and Jacob Oubre.
Honorary pallbearer will be David Dolph Daly III.
