A resident of New Iberia, Mr. Ellis was born on May 3, 1955 in Homer, and was a resident of New Iberia. He enjoyed helping people, and spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Alvena Romero Ellis of New Iberia; sons, Bobby Ellis, Jr., Brian Joseph Ellis, and James Ellis all of New Iberia; daughters, Christine Ellis of Lydia, Sarah Dauphine of Iota, Heather Ellis of New Iberia; mother, Barbara Brewer of Monroe; sisters, Cynthia Curry of Sacremento, CA, Cheryl Dilly of Columbia; brother, Timothy Ellis of Columbia; and grandchildren, Kaitlyn Dauphine, Jason Dauphine, Elizabeth Smith, Charles Smith, and Faith Smith.
