Bonnie Boudreaux

Catahoula - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 pm, on Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at St. Rita Catholic Church in Catahoula, for Bonnie Landry Boudreaux , 55, who passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2012, at her residence. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in St. Martinville from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm on Monday and continue at 7:00 am until 12:00 noon on Tuesday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Monday. Rev. Richard Fabre will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Amy Allen and Joseph Landry. Gift bearers will be Linda Viator, Peggy Meyers and Annette Angelle. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Catahoula. Bonnie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially at the pool with her grandchildren. She loved decorating, enjoyed watching and feeding the humming birds while working in her garden. She worked at St. Rita's Catholic Church for many years. She was a past president of the Ladies Altar Society, a member of the Kitchen Pokeno Club and of the Susan Komen Race for the Cure. She is survived by her husband, Kelly Boudreaux Sr. of St. Martinville, sons, Drs. Kelly (Allyson) Boudreaux Jr. of Baton Rouge, Matthew Boudreaux of St. Martinville, daughters, Maudrey (Corey) Durand of St. Martinville, Megan (Brad) Broussard of Catahoula, her grandchildren, Drew, Emily, Ava, Kellan and Cole, father, Lloyd Landry of Cypress Island, brothers, Ronnie Landry of Cypress Island, Michael (Claire) Landry of St. Martinville, Mark (Penny) Landry of Loreauville, sisters, Linda Viator of New Iberia, Peggy (Francis) Meyers of Coteau, Annette (Randy) Angelle of Breaux Bridge and her beloved pet cockatiel, Koolie. She is preceded in death by her mother, Maudrey Landry. Pallbearers will be Kelly Boudreaux Jr., Matthew Boudreaux, Mark Landry, Francis Meyers, Capt. Darby Boudreaux and Jerry Broussard. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Landry, Michael Landry, Corey Durand, Brad Broussard, Larry Romero, Robert Dunn, Michael Topham and Rusty Boudreaux. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Brierre and staff, Dr. Krawczyk and staff and to the staff of Triple A Hospice.
