Brae' Schaubert

New Iberia - Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM , Wednesday, December 7, 2011, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Brae Anthony Schaubert, 23, who passed away on Friday, December 2, 2011 in New Iberia. Interment will be at a later date. Rev. Ed Degeyter will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd , in New Iberia . A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM Tuesday. Visitation will continue Wednesday from 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM . Born on January 26, 1988 in New Iberia , Brae worked as a Department Assistant for Coil Tubing Services. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, and riding his motorcycle. Survivors include his companion, Mandy Runnels of New Iberia; father, Craig Schaubert of New Iberia; mother, Angela Bonin of Broussard; grandparents, Gilbert and Corida Schaubert of New Iberia, Bill Bonin of New Iberia, Diana Bonin of New Orleans; brothers, Dillan Schaubert, Tylon Schaubert, Colbren Schaubert, Brant Boutte all of New Iberia; sister, Kaylen ;Powell and husband Jared of New Iberia; brother-in-law, Denton Runnels of New Iberia; nephew, Ace ;Powell; ;and Tray, Talynn, and Saje who were like his kids. He was preceded in death by his cousin, Justin Schaubert and his aunt, Angela Schaubert. Honorary pallbearers include Craig Schaubert, Kevin Schaubert, Brent Schaubert, Jeremy Lopez, Max Romero, Tray Legendre, Denton Runnels, Seth Boudreaux, and Irwin Francisco.
