Brandon Dugan

New Iberia – Funeral services will be held at 5:00 pm, on Friday, March 8, 2024, at Pellerin Funeral Home, for Brandon Wayne Dugan, 52, who passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024. Interment will be at a later date.

Pastor Don Norman, of Our Savior’s Church, will officiate.

Visitation will be Friday from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home.

A lifelong area resident, Brandon was born on August 25, 1971, to Walter Dugan, Sr. and Paulette Zimmerman Dugan. He was always the life of the party, full of energy and making everyone laugh. Brandon loved baking and cooking, having worked at various places throughout our communities. 

Survivors include his mother, Paulette Poirier (Tommy); daughters, Brandy Dugan Owens (Raven), Monica Dugan Romero (Nik), and Brittany Perez; brother, Aaron Dugan; sister, Holly Delcambre (Scott); grandchildren, Ripp Owens, Kamryn Gondran, Collin Gondran, Jaxon Romero, Natalie Baker, Aubree Baker, Alex Santiago, Abela Perez, and Alaina Boudoin; step grandchildren, Halle Bourque, Saige Romero, Kayla Lopez, and Zae Romero; nephews and nieces, Ethan Delcambre, Evan Delcambre Davanee Dugan, Kylie Devellier, Aaiken Dugan, and Jillian Babineaux; step brothers, Derrick Poirrier, and Taylor Poirrier; step sisters, Kimberly Maturin (Ben), and Jamie Maturin (Anthony).

Brandon was preceded in death by his father, Walter Dugan, Sr; a brother, Walter “Pokey” Dugan, Jr.; grandparents, Lloyd and Georgette Dugan, and Maria Belaire (Wilfred).
