Brandon Jude Guidry

CECILIA - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am, on Thursday, December 10, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Brandon Jude Guidry, 27, who passed away on Monday, December 7, 2015, at his residence surrounded by family. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 1:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Wednesday, and continue on Thursday at 7:00 am until 10:00 am, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Wednesday. Reverend Michael Delcambre will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Brandon enjoyed going to school, attending church every Sunday with his family, and spending time with friends and family. He loved going on vacation with his family, riding the 4-wheeler with his dad, daily walks, and watching movies. Everyone knows him for his love of boudin and donuts. He is survived by his loving parents, John Rohde and Bertha L. Guidry; sister, Andrea Guidry; grandparents, John Carey and Loula Guidry and Roy J. Latiolais, Sr.; aunts, Ronna Guidry, Paige Theriot, Dawn Allemond and husband Alex, Keri Lanerie and husband Corie, Cynthia Hollier and husband Brad, and Deanna L. Kidder and fianc Harvey Lejeune; uncles, Shawn Guidry and wife Renee, Roy J. Latiolais, Jr., Henry Latiolais and wife Carla, and Derek Latiolais and wife Lori. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Elizabeth Calou Latiolais; and his sibling, Baby Brooke Guidry. Pallbearers will be Rohde Guidry, Shawn Guidry, Brad Hollier, Corie Lanerie, Henry Latiolais, and Derek Latiolais. The family would like to thank Hospice of Acadiana, their doctors and staff, who helped care for Brandon. They would also like to thank Reverend Michael Delcambre for his prayers and comfort.
