Brandon Thibodeaux

New Iberia - Funeral services will be held for Brandon Thibodeaux, 27, at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2007 at Pellerin Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Coteau. Brandon was a graduate of New Iberia Senior High, when at NISH he was part of the award winning Pride of Cajun Land drum corp. He had a love for motorcross and working on bikes. He enjoyed helping children succeed in their motorcross skills. He was a wonderful uncle to his nieces and took much pride in being Bailee's parain. Survivors include his father, Hubert ""Skipper"" Thibodeaux and wife Karen of New Iberia; mother, Norma Romero Thibodeaux of New Iberia; grandmother, Lou Thibodeaux of New Iberia; Grandfather, Lawrence ""Tuttie"" Romero, Jr. of New Iberia,; sister, Tiesha Babineaux and husband Bubba of Youngsville; nieces, Bailee and Emily Babineaux; step brothers, Garrett, Colby and Zachary Airhart of Duson; step sister, Cori Airhart of Duson; uncles, Billy Thibodeaux of Carencro, Faron Thibodeaux of New Iberia, Kim Lee Romero of New Iberia and his parain, Keith Romero of New Iberia, aunt and godmother, Sandra Thibodeaux Corne of Grand Junction, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Emily Judice Romero and grandfather, Hubert ""Hank"" Thibodeaux, Sr. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, October 12, 2007 and continue at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 on Friday evening. Pallbearers will be Bubba Babineaux, Trinity ""Smoke"" Smith, Dusty Frederick, Corey Thibodeaux, Jason Lejeune and Jameson Provost.
