Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m, on Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Braylan Thomas Landry, 32, who passed away on Friday, May 14, 2010 .Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia.Fr. Keith Landry, will conduct the services. Readers will be Shawna Landry and Peggy Robin. Gift bearers are Shawna Landry, Allie Richard and Morgan Landry.Braylan was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He enjoyed spending his free time with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by his mother, brother, sister-in-law, aunts, uncles, and his friends.Survivors include his mother, Madeline Vitte Landry of Cecilia, his brother, Earl (Jamie) Landry, Jr. and his wife Shawna Dupuis Landry of Scott; his niece, Allie Richard of Scott and his godchild, Morgan Landry of Humble TX.He was preceded in death by his father, Earl James Landry, Sr.; his brother, Michael Shawn Landry; his maternal grandparents, Homer, Sr., and Anna Pepitone Vitte; his paternal grandparents, Felix and Electa Angelle Landry.The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday and continue at 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday.A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Earl (Jaime) Landry, Jr., Bart Vitte, Gabe Robin, Jarrod Courville, Jude Guidry and Kyle Landry.Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Vitte, Ricky Vitte and Homer Vitte, Jr.Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
