Brenda Miller Bazar

Arnaudville - Brenda Miller Bazar, a loving and devoted daughter, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at her residence. 

The family will host a Memorial Service at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville, celebrated by Father Darren Eldridge. 

Brenda was a devout Catholic and parishioner of St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville and her spirituality and unwavering faith aided her in life and throughout the tough battles she faced. She loved life to the fullest and she loved to tell others how beautiful they are. 

Brenda loved all things glitter and arts & crafts and often had many projects that she was tending to at once. She enjoyed being in her flower beds and taking care of the rose bushes dedicated to her grandchildren. Brenda also found much joy in vacationing, listening to live music and being by a campfire. Her life-long friends, as well as the babies she cared for were so dear to her heart. Brenda loved hard and will be tremendously missed by all who were blessed to know her. 

She is survived by her beloved mother, Vernice Robin Miller; sons, Lance Gerard Bazar and Leonard Marty Bazar, Jr.; daughter, Robyn Bazar St. Romain (Matthew); brothers, Mark Louis Miller (Melissa) and Kevin John Miller (Michelle); sisters, Nancy Miller Fruge' (Terry) and Mary Miller; and grandchildren, Charlie St. Romain, Stevie St. Romain, Maverick St. Romain and Elijah Bazar.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard "Marty" Bazar, Sr.; and father, Louis "June" Miller, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Acadiana.
