St. Martinville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville for Brenda Romero Bonin, 61, who passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020, at her residence.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, and continue on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at 8:00 am until 11:00 am.
A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Tuesday.
Father Jason Mouton will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial.
Brenda was a fun loving mother, grandmother and sister. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and spending her weekends at Robert's Lounge. Brenda loved going to family events and cooking for them. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughter, Meagan E. Bonin of St. Martinville; sons, Jude Bonin and wife Callie of St. Martinville and Jobie Bonin and wife Amber of Loreauville; grandchildren, Sage Bonin, Trevor Landry, Alexis Bonin, Halie Landy, Brylie Landry, Bree Bonin, Colton Bonin, Blayze Bonin, Breeze Champagne, Briggs and Blythe Bonin; great-grandchildren, Khyzer Butler and Brexlie Bonin; brothers, David Romero and wife Margaret and Chris Romero and wife Dana; sisters, Julie Romero spouse Jean and Susan Picard and husband Donald; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Neil Anthony Bonin; brother, Jerry Romero; father, Alton Romero; and mother, Catherine Romero.
Pallbearers will be Blayze Bonin, Colton Bonin, Trevor Bonin, Sage Bonin, Josh Romero and Blake Romero.
