Brenda "Poon" Landry

Breaux Bridge - A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Brenda G. Landry, 67, who passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2020, in Breaux Bridge. Fr. Garrett McIntyre will officiate at the memorial service. Inurnment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Brenda, known as "Poon" to many, was born October 31, 1952. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Poon enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her loving husband, Steven Landry; son, Jonathan Landry (Katie); siblings, Ronnie Guidry (Ruby), Robert Guidry (Katie), Carol Guidry, and Jenny Guidry (Mike); grandchildren, Ava, Tate, and Noelle Landry and Jase Serrette; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orel Guidry, Jr., and Verna B. Guidry, brother, Kelly Guidry; and nephew, Marcus Guidry. Pellerin Funeral Home (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
