Brenda Gail Richard

A memorial service will be held at a later date for Brenda Gail Richard, 69, who passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2020, Brenda loved entertaining her family and her friends - she was the life of the party at every event. She enjoyed playing solitaire, working crossword puzzles, and taking small trips to visit her family and friends who lived in the Oakdale area. Brenda will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her sons, Brian Theriot and wife Ginger of St. Martinville and Brandon Harrington and wife Gwen of Jourdantown; daughters, Christie Theriot Hebert and husband Christopher of Iota and Kerry Theriot of Breaux Bridge; 13 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Joey Richard and wife Michelle of Breaux Bridge; sisters, Betty Theriot and husband Clement of Breaux Bridge, Janet Richard of Carencro, Debra Bertrand and husband Whalen of Pecan Island, and Pattie Dillard and husband Larry of Federalway, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Roy and Audrey McGree Richard; and her former husband, Nolan J. Theriot. Pellerin Funeral Home (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
